Yes, we provide a warranty for the painted surface, subject to conditions.
It is not recommended to apply paint on to a lime surface because later on, it will lead to chalking or peeling of the paint from the surface. We suggest that lime surfaces be scraped off completely before you apply new paint. After this, you can choose from Pashupati Paints' Interior Primer that can be applied, followed by 2-3 coats of interior emulsion paint. If the lime surface is an exterior surface, after scraping the surface, apply Pashupati Paints' range of Bio-wash in order to tackle any bacterial, algal or fungal growth on the walls. This can be followed by one coat of Exterior Primer, subsequently followed by 2-3 coats of exterior emulsion paint.
It is not advisable to paint on moist walls. The surface to be painted must be dry.
We have a paint that is odorless and safe for you. But you can always reoccupy the space after two hours of painting even if you use other Pashupati Paint Products.
For exteriors, the best time to paint is when the weather is pleasant, without risk of high humidity or rain on the horizon. It is best to avoid painting in extreme temperatures and humid conditions. For interiors, there are no such restrictions − an ambient temperature in-home and outside is best. It is best to have some ventilation during and immediately after painting in order to dissipate fumes, and also help with drying.
We recommend that the distemper surfacing be scraped off completely. After it is clean, apply one coat of Interior Primer, followed by 2-3 coats of interior emulsion paint.
Painting a room in the correct order will save time and money. Begin with the ceilings, followed by the walls then the doors and windows.
For the application of water-based paint on walls and ceilings, usually brush application is done followed by a roller for a smooth and even finish. For solvent-based paints applied on metal and wood surfaces, brush or spray application is carried out as recommended.

This is due to poor surface preparation before painting, or a surface that is too powdery due to skimcoats. To correct, remove the unstable paint film completely. Clean the surface and let it dry completely. Repaint with one coat of Wall Sealer followed by two coats of top finishing paint.
This is growth of fungus or algae. This is caused by a living micro-organism generally found on painted or unpainted surfaces. It can be greenish, reddish-brown, dark grey or black in color and is caused due to the growth of a continuously damp surface with dirt accumulation and insufficient sunlight, or application of fungicide or algaecide. High pressure washing and scrubbing of the affected area, followed by a coat of Bio-Wash solution to kill micro-organic spores, is the recommended treatment. Allow the wall to dry overnight before re-painting.
This effect is called “EFFLORESCENCE” in paint terminology and is a deposition of white salt crystals on plastered walls. It is caused by excessive moisture that has migrated to the wall surface. At the drying stage, soluble salts and moisture get transported to the wall surface and dry in the form of crystals. To remove, allow the walls to dry thoroughly. Wash off the deposits using a water jet on all affected areas. Ensure the white salt deposits, dirt, and dust are removed before repainting. Repaint with one coat of Multipurpose Wall Sealer and/or Exterior Primer followed by two coats of top finishing paint.
